Advancements=Improvements? Maybe not.

Looking back at scary movies from the past a lot has changed, technology has advanced, Special effects have improved, but with all these improvements i feel like there is something lacking. What is it might you ask? The music. 1975, a great white shark. You might not consider it scary but this thriller had a score of music to die for. Everyone remembers the song. Ba dum Ba dum Ba dum slow at first then rapidly gaining momenutm. A rather simple song that made a huge impact on this Steven Spielberg classic. Yes the graphics were horrible and the shark was utterly embarrassing but that music made up for it, it made this movie memorable. When this movie came out the box office hit $470,653, 00 which is excellent considering it cost about $9,000,000 to make the movie. This movie was extremely popular because the graphics (no matter how bad they are compared to what they are now) were really good for what they had been until this movie came out. It just goes to show that not everything has improved over the years in the movie industry
